Programs include:
Homebound Friends and Neighbors: Homebound library patrons may choose a friend or neighbor to pickup and return library materials. To apply for a homebound library card, or if you need additional information about this service, contact your local branch, call the Circulation Support Office 213-228-7065, or visit lapl.org/sites/default/files/media/pdf/homebound_card_app.pdf to print out and mail in an application.

Audiobook and e-Audiobook Collection: Audiobooks are available from the Central Library and branches of the Los Angeles Public Library in all subject areas. In addition, e-audiobooks are accessible through the Library’s e-Media lapl.org/collections-resources/e-media home page.

Large Type Book Collection: Large type books are available from the Central Library and many Los Angeles Public Library branches. The Central Library collection is located in the Literature and Fiction Department on the third floor. Contact your local branch to find out how you can request for large type books to be delivered to your local branch.
